The Brake Pad Manufacturer Tells You Not To Replace It Blindly

The noise mentioned here refers to the noise when the brake disc is completely lubricated and flat. The reason is that the current national regulations prohibit the use of asbestos-containing brake pads, but domestic large brake pad manufacturers generally do so, while some small brake pad manufacturers are still producing and selling asbestos-containing brake pads. Although the semi-metal non-asbestos brake pad has a long travel distance, which is beneficial to environmental protection and personal health, the data is hard and the asbestos brake pad is soft, so even if there are scratches on the brake disc, there will be no noise and the brake feel is soft. In this case, the sound can only be replaced by new brake pads.
A damaged brake disc refers to a brake pad that is damaged when the brake disc is lubricated and flat. In addition to the foreign matter caught by the brake pad during the traveling process, this is caused by the uneven mixing in the production process of the brake pad production company. In fact, because of the cost, the hardness of the brake disc is not as good as before. Even the brake disc of the original car is generally not as hard as it used to be, which makes the semi-metal brake disc particularly vulnerable to damage. As long as there is a slight scratch and the scratch depth does not exceed 1mm, there is no need to replace the disk, just flatten the disk and continue to use it.
If the color of the conflict block does not change and the slag falls, this is a product quality problem. It should be replaced with a new one.
Slag or falling after discoloration of the conflict block can be divided into the following reasons:
1. If the brake caliper does not return, and the brake caliper does not return for a long time, the brake pad temperature will be too high, resulting in the ablation of conflicting data. Quality, or adhesive failure, in which case, the conflicting data turns red or yellow, which is not the reason for product quality, but it is necessary to replace the brake pads and repair the brake calipers.
2. Long-term braking will cause slag inclusion or falling. This situation is more common in mountainous areas, and secondly, on highways. In the mountains, the road is long because of the steep slope. Experienced drivers use the brake to go downhill, but novices often brake continuously for a long time, which is easy to cause the brake pads to burn and remove the slag. When driving on the highway, because the road and the car are very good, the driver often travels at a speed of more than 110 kilometers per hour. In an emergency, the point brake often loses its function and must be continuously braked. This kind of long time braking often leads to brake pad ablation, slagging and deblocking. The film color will also change to red or yellow.
3. The slag and caking in the above two items A and B do not belong to the product responsibility, and the brake pad manufacturer does not assume the responsibility.
